Descripción:
Canada’s National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking 2019–2024 is structured around five pillars: prevention, protection, prosecution, partnerships, and empowerment. With over CAD 60 million in federal funding, it aims to strengthen interagency responses through a victim-centered, intersectional, and trauma-informed approach. The strategy prioritizes interventions targeting vulnerable populations, including women, girls, Indigenous peoples, and migrants. It includes mechanisms for coordination, legal reform, and national and international cooperation.
