On December 13, 2013, the Republic Presidency of Uruguay adopted a Decree that requires touristic services providers to take actions aimed at the prevention of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in tourism. These actions include: adopt a Code of Conduct, which must meet directors, managers and employees; prevent that their dependents and intermediaries offer sexual touristic services of child; denounce the existences of acts related to commercial and non-commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
